Foro de Juventudes por la Transformación de los Sistemas Agroalimentarios
February 27, 2026

The Youth Forum for Agri-food Systems Transformation, held in Brasilia on January 26-27, united young people from 16 countries and over 145 organizations. Convened by FAO, participants strengthened leadership skills, exchanged experiences, and developed a generational roadmap for the 39th FAO Regional Conference (LARC39).

Despite facing structural barriers in land, employment, and technology, these youth are now key actors in building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agri-food systems. The forum culminated in a Regional Youth Declaration, with proposals advancing to LARC39. Subscribe to FAO's YouTube and follow on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, and Weibo.
