February 27, 2026

The 39th FAO Regional Conference (LARC39) will be held in Brazil from March 2-6, 2026. This key forum will drive regional agri-food transformation.

A video summarizes the extensive participatory process involving over 1,500 stakeholders. Through eight dialogues, proposals were gathered from governments, youth, academia, the private sector, and civil society to define 2026-2027 strategic priorities. This culminated in a Civil Society Consultation in Brasilia, where spokespersons were chosen to present recommendations and a Regional Declaration to leaders at LARC39.
