About This Collection

Let's hear from our children, and their advocates, on the social, environmental, cultural, and economic concerns around sustainability and the call to always act responsibly and with the next seven generations in mind. The collection will also feature, from time to time, adults who are speaking on behalf of children.

Tina Oh's 2018 Brower Youth Awards Speech. Tina is a 21 year old from rural New Brunswick, Canada who is a divestment organizer in a nationally-recognized, student-led fossil fuel divestment campaign at Mount Allison University. She is part of the steering committee for a national climate convergence called RISE 2019 in Ottawa to gather, skill-share and train young people in direct action, movement building, and anti-oppressive organizing.
