Lifelong environmental activist Christine Milne urges unwavering hope for protecting and restoring our planet, especially for young people. Having witnessed major environmental wins, she believes there are strong reasons for optimism.

Milne highlights the UN Decade for Ecological Restoration (2021-2030) and the potential restoration of Lake Pedder. Flooded in 1972, this pristine alpine lake is now a prime candidate for ecological restoration—a beacon of hope and a future success story.
