In 2017, Sy Adler and Jim Irvine interviewed Don Mazziotti, a key planner involved with Oregon's Statewide Planning Goal 10, which focuses on accommodating needed housing. Mazziotti's extensive career includes serving as Beaverton's Community and Economic Development Director, heading the Portland Development Commission, and acting as Portland's chief planner in the 1970s.
