The symbols of systemic racism and how to take away their power | Paul Rucker
July 19, 2018

Multidisciplinary artist and TED Fellow Paul Rucker unstiches the legacy of systemic racism in the United States. He creates striking Ku Klux Klan robes from non-traditional fabrics like kente cloth, confronting the normalization of racism. Rucker believes that by collectively examining these historical objects, we can diminish their power. (This talk contains graphic images.)
