Dr. Oldham, an expert in Chemical Oceanography, began her career studying chemistry in Canada, then researched metals in seawater in Bermuda. After completing her PhD and post-doctoral work, she joined URI’s Graduate School of Oceanography. Her current research focuses on intense redox chemistry in coastal oceans, hydrothermal vents, and polar systems.

Addressing the environmental crisis, *Wild Law – In Practice* aims to transition Earth Jurisprudence from theory into practice. The book argues that current legal frameworks perpetuate ecological issues and must be radically reconfigured to ensure a viable human presence on Earth.

Authored by Peter Burdon, a Senior Lecturer at Adelaide Law School, the work draws on his extensive expertise in ecological law. His PhD in this field earned him the Bonython Prize and a University of Adelaide Research Medal. Since 2005, Burdon has also actively contributed to Friends of the Earth Adelaide's Clean Futures Collective.

Asukulu Songolo, a junior at Central Catholic in Portland, is an immigrant and child of war refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He explores his family's history, seeking to bring positive change to his true home.

Passionate about social justice, Asukulu actively promotes marginalized groups through his school's Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council and African American Students United. In August 2019, he founded The Congo Peace Project, a grassroots movement dedicated to realizing menstrual hygiene and educational opportunities for all Congolese people.
