Leonard shared her insights during an interview at the 2014 Annual Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) in Portland, Oregon, on October 28, 2014. At the 2011 conference, Emmet Brady of the Insect News Network (INN) was interviewed by Ruth Ann Barrett of EarthSayers.tv, voices of sustainability. Emmet's mission is to educate and empower people to care for the natural world through Cultural Entomology.

I also attended the keynote by Dr. Bernice Sandler, "the godmother of Title IX," and celebrated Nancy Foye-Cox receiving the Marcia P. Crowley Award for service to the Section on Women in Public Administration (SWPA).
