This talk offers a global perspective on climate change, emphasizing effective individual actions for collective planetary salvation. Gordian Raacke, Executive Director of Renewable Energy Long Island, will explain the necessity and method for transitioning to a 100% renewable energy supply, both globally and locally.

With a civil engineering degree and 25 years in regional energy, Raacke is a recognized expert. He co-founded the Long Island Offshore Wind Initiative, helped develop the local solar market, and was trained by Al Gore as a Climate Reality Leader. He also led a 2011 study on a 100% renewable electricity future for the region and serves on local sustainability committees.
