Milne highlights the UN Decade for Ecological Restoration (2021-2030) and the potential restoration of Lake Pedder. Flooded in 1972, this pristine alpine lake is now a prime candidate for ecological restoration—a beacon of hope and a future success story.

Rebecca Moore of Google Outreach discussed the Google Earth Outreach Program at the 2009 Bioneers Conference. This "Global Community Watch" empowers non-profits, communities, and indigenous peoples worldwide by applying Google's mapping tools to foster a sustainable society.

A computer scientist, Moore's personal Google Earth work was instrumental in stopping the logging of redwoods in her Santa Cruz Mountain community. She also initiated and leads Google Earth Engine, a platform for global-scale data-mining of satellite imagery for societal benefit. Moore holds degrees from Brown and Stanford Universities.

Witnessing environmental injustices like pipelines and the Flint water crisis spurred Isra to action. She launched the US Youth Climate Strike in March 2019. With numerous organizers and partners, the group has led multiple strikes and a petition for a climate debate. Isra prioritizes accessible, visible action, focusing on climate change's disproportionate impact on Black and Brown communities and amplifying frontline voices.

These include tick-borne diseases, allergies, asthma, and waterborne illnesses, which are increasing in frequency and disproportionately affect vulnerable communities.

As past president of the American College of Physicians and a co-author of their 2015 position paper, Dr. Damle is a leading voice on the human health effects of climate change. He speaks globally, is a founding member of the Medical Societies Consortium on Climate Change, and advocates for mitigation efforts to legislative bodies and health departments.
