Nikola Kováčová, known as Surová dcérka, once believed meat was essential. Her perspective shifted after moving to India, where she became vegan, initially for comfort, then due to concerns about animal husbandry's environmental impact. While she once wished everyone would go vegan, Nikola now advocates for "reducetarianism."

A photographer and creative director in Prague, Nikola has actively blogged for six years on dcerka.sk, covering ethical veganism, recipes, and cruelty-free cosmetics.
