Philip Booth explores climate change as an inter-generational justice issue, arguing that government debt transfers wealth from younger to older generations. His talk examines the problem's scale, its social and economic impacts using historical examples, and questions potential solutions or if the damage is irreversible.

Professor Booth is Director of Catholic Mission at St. Mary’s, Director of the Vinson Centre, Professor of Economics at University of Buckingham, and Senior Academic Fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs. He previously advised the Bank of England and has authored several books.

A National Merit Scholar, Detzler conducted research alongside doctoral students at age 20, identifying the dangers of 2-4-dichlorophenoxyacetic, later known as Agent Orange.

At Chrysler Automotive, Detzler served as a materials engineer and senior manager. He pioneered advancements in coatings, notably introducing environmentally safe powder coating to the American automotive market.
