Yesterday, on the Indigenous National Day of Action, October 14, 2015, Missy Crowe and Lisa Montelongo EBCI tribal members, IEN representatives, on behalf of the Indigenous Environmental Network, submitted a Resolution to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Council in support of our climate justice work, during a regular session, and accepted unanimously .... strengthening their commitment to Climate Justice in solidarity with all Indigenous Peoples / People's Climate Movement.

Slavery is about commerce. Acclaimed humanitarian photographer Lisa Kristine specializes in images of remote indigenous peoples.
