A Professor of Environment and Development at the University of Reading, Okereke co-directs the Climate and Justice Centre. His extensive background includes senior roles at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and Oxford University, where he remains a visiting fellow. His work focuses on policies and strategies to address climate change and natural resource degradation in Africa.

Her background spans education, criminal justice, and campaigns for Stephen Lawrence and Frank Critchlow.
