Dr. P. M. Ravi, a Ph.D. and Senior Scientist, formerly led the Environmental Studies Section at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, India's premier nuclear research facility. He also serves as adjunct faculty at Mangalore University. His research expertise spans environmental monitoring, ecological studies, analytical chemistry, and radioecology, with a focus on nuclear aspects.

Recognized for his scientific contributions, Dr. Ravi received the Dr. Ganguly Felicitation prize (2002) for Radiation Protection and Environment, and the Department of Atomic Energy Special Contribution Award (2011). He was also awarded the Marie Curie Post Doctoral Fellowship by the Commission of European Communities, Brussels.
