It is critical for the youth to take action to stem climate change and environmental destruction, and I believe the intersection between personal responsibility, technology, and sustainability is where the solution is and will be found. I’ve learned that environmental awareness generated through personal responsibility can change individual behavior, and when combined with resilience and perseverance, has the chance to change the world. I’m Marcelo da Paz, a 12th-grade student passionate about programming, soccer, video games, and making an impact on the world.
