Empathy in a Digital Age | Jonathan Williams | TEDxUConnSalon

The digital world grows day by day, even more so during the current COVID-19 pandemic. However, virtual communication grows at the expense of empathetic communication. Jonathan William talks about his thoughts on this topic and what we could do moving forward. Jonathan Williams is a data scientist and a researcher of human behavior focused on empathy, intelligence theory, and analytical psychology. He is the author of “A Complete Human”, which is a guide on how to integrate the unique traits that have been repressed from your childhood. Jonathan studied Mathematics & Statistics at UConn and is deeply involved in understanding the intersection of psychology and data science. He hopes to continue his research in understanding the roots of social behavior and its impact on generational myopia. During his time as a UConn student, Jonathan started and ran a vegan Italian restaurant out of his apartment.
