Frogsicle

Every September wood frogs in Alaska crawl into leaf litter and freeze into a frogsicle to prepare for the long winter. Two-thirds of their body water turns to ice and their hearts stop beating. Six months later, they thaw out and hop off. Read more: https://biodiv.us/2vNg0PN
