Indigenous women are developing local solutions to climate change. Panelists will discuss its impacts on Indigenous women, their communities, and livelihoods, sharing experiences in implementing solutions. These include land management, resilient food systems, and innovative economic approaches that foster community and ecosystem well-being.
The panel features Martha Agbani-Barinuazor (Lokiaka Community Development Centre), Celia Nichim (YIMOM, Mujeres Sanadoras), Tania Eulalia Martínez Cruz, and Monica Coc Magnusson (Cultural Survival). Bia’ni Madsa’ Juárez López (Keepers of the Earth Fund) will moderate.
