The pandemic serves as a critical wake-up call, urging us to avoid "crisis fatigue" and address environmental challenges.

This talk was delivered by Mark McGinley, an ecologist whose lifelong passion for nature began in childhood. With degrees in zoology and ecology, he dedicated his career to fostering scientific and environmental literacy. As a professor, he taught field courses, developed programs, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Encyclopedia of Earth. He now works at Lingnan University. We also fought corruption threatening wilderness areas and defended national parks from exploitation.
