Alice Wilson is a PhD candidate at the University of York and studies an examination of tiny housing as a unique and emerging sector within self-build projects. After a short break from education she won an ESRC 1+3 scholarship to complete a PhD on the potential that Tiny Houses have to address inter-generational justice issues, whilst moving us closer to achieving our environmental justice goals as a country and as a planet. Marie Storli is the leader of Rethinking Economics Norway as well as the co-owner and sustainability consultant in Myldring. There, she gets to combine her passion for sustainability with her dedication for sharing her knowledge by writing articles, holding workshops, public speaking, arranging conferences and helping businesses succeed with sustainability strategies. In this talk, Marie draws her picture of economic models of the future and what we need to do make it sustainable. Marie Storli is the leader of Rethinking Economics Norway. She holds a master’s degree in economics with specialization in environmental economics and climate models. She is passionate about the environment and the sustainability challenges that lie ahead. Marie’s interest in sharing her knowledge has led her to become a skilled speaker and writer. Her primary areas of interest are ecological and social sustainability, as well as economic history.
