Effective communication is crucial for managing animal health crises. It ensures reliable information dissemination, coordinates actions, builds public trust, and combats disinformation. This also educates farmers and communities, limiting the spread of zoonotic diseases and their economic impact.

In Tunisia, the FAO's "Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response (PPR) – One Health" project supports Veterinary Services. It strengthens staff capacity through media training, improving their communication with the media.
