AI for Good is a year-round digital platform where AI innovators and problem owners learn, build and connect to identify practical AI solutions to advance the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We have less than 10 years to solve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). AI holds great promise by capitalizing on the unprecedented quantities of data now being generated on sentiment behaviour, human health, commerce, communications, migration and more.

The goal of AI for Good is to identify practical applications of AI to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and scale those solutions for global impact. It’s the leading action-oriented, global & inclusive United Nations platform on AI.

ITU Technologized: Shaping a Shared Digital Future: WTPF-26 and developing a shared vision

Tobias Kaufmann Vice Chair of the WTPF-26 IEG, EUR Region, speaks with Gretchen Bueermann, from the WTPF-26 secretariat, about ongoing preparations for the 2026 World Telecommunications ICT Policy Forum (WTPF), which will address five interconnected priorities: bridging digital divides, green digital transformation, resilience of telecommunications and ICTs, space connectivity, and strengthening ICT-centric innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship.

Tobias Kaufmann explains how these topics complement each other to address global needs and technological challenges. He emphasizes the importance of the WTPF as a platform for facilitating inclusive dialogue, sharing best practices, and developing a shared vision for an inclusive, sustainable, and resilient digital future.
