Join host Jeff Corwin on a conservation adventure, beginning in California's Big Sur to help save the majestic California condor. At the Ventana Wildlife Society, Corwin assists in preparing juvenile condors for release into the wild. This iconic bird, North America's largest, was rescued from a population of just 22 individuals in 1982 through a dedicated captive breeding program. Today, approximately 500 condors exist worldwide, with about 300 flying free across the American West and Mexico.

Corwin then travels to his home state of Massachusetts to work with the Department of Fish and Wildlife. His mission there is to protect the unique saltmarsh sparrow, a species vital to the delicate salt marsh habitats of the East Coast.

Annika Naramreddy, a 12th-grade student at Oakridge International School, presented an insightful TEDx talk on textile waste pollution. She highlighted the environmental impact and championed a "Reuse, Recycle, Reduce" mantra, advocating for a circular economy.

Annika founded Pharz, a firm dedicated to upcycling pre-consumer textile waste. Her commendable efforts have already upcycled 2875 meters, diverting significant waste from landfills and promoting a sustainable environment.

Beyond her environmental activism, Annika is a Trinity Level 3 Certified Pianist, an accomplished traveler and trekker, and a recipient of multiple academic awards. She also blogs about the unpublicized effects of war. This talk was independently organized. Learn more at TEDx.

Inaam Chattha, who experienced eco-anxiety as a teen, channeled his concern into environmental activism, volunteering, and exploring the intersection of race, land, grief. Now a medical student, he authored children's books on eco-emotions and was named a Top 25 Under 25 Environmentalist by Starfish Canada.

In 2023, Chattha launched Green Mind, a national, youth-led initiative. It provides culturally grounded educational materials and a bilingual Climate Wellness Toolkit to help young people, especially from underrepresented communities, cope with climate anxiety and take action. The toolkit is used in Ontario classrooms for somatic grounding, journaling, and peer connection.
